Cold Blood Warm Heart (天地男兒)

A story of brothers on opposite sides of the law, held together by an old family bond. The title says it: a hard surface over a soft centre. I kept hoping for a reconciliation.

The crime plot is the frame, but the arguments between the brothers are the heart. The tone is serious, with a few lighter breaks. It feels like a character study that happens to have a gang in it.

Thirty episodes make a satisfying month. It sits well beside the other family dramas on the list. A thoughtful pick for a quiet night.
