Heart of Greed (溏心風暴)

A feud over money and pride inside a family, set in the world of a dried-seafood business. It is the sort of story where a single mistake spreads through three generations. I was surprised how quickly it pulled me in.

The arguments are sharp and the dinner-table scenes are the best part. It can be cruel, but there is room for kindness too. I laughed and winced in about equal measure.

Twenty episodes make a satisfying weekend project. It is soapy in a good way. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys family conflicts.
