Secret of the Heart (天地豪情)

A family drama about hidden feelings and the things people never say aloud. It is slow and tender. I felt the title was well chosen.

The performances are restrained, and the story trusts silence. Some of the turns are predictable, yet they still land. I liked how the older characters are treated with dignity.

Twenty episodes make a calm weekend. A good pick if you want a feeling rather than a plot. I watched it in two sittings.
