Armed Reaction (陀槍師姐)

A female detective works in a male-dominated police force and has to prove herself over and over. Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯) gives her toughness and humour in equal measure. It felt ahead of its time.

The cases are decent, but the real story is her daily life and the people around her. The tone is lighter than most crime shows. I enjoyed the friendly rivalry with her colleagues.

Thirty episodes pass easily. It is a pleasant mix of police work and workplace comedy. A good one for a lazy Sunday.
