File of Justice (壹號皇庭)

Courtroom cases and the lawyers who fight them, one trial at a time. The arguments are the main event, and the show trusts the audience to follow them. I liked that the verdicts are not always tidy.

The cast of barristers, clerks and judges feels lived in. Outside the courtroom the personal stories give a human face to the law. A few cases felt dated, but the moral questions did not.

It is episodic enough to watch at your own pace. Thirty episodes will fill several evenings. A good pick if you enjoy talky dramas.
